Greater New Product Launch – Standardized Distribution Automation Terminal Products for State Grid

2025-10-15

To enable the interchangeable use of equipment from different manufacturers within a certain scope and timeframe, enhance the operational and maintenance convenience of ring main units (RMUs), and promote the high-quality development of integrated primary and secondary RMUs, State Grid Corporation has organized and released the new "Standardized Design Scheme for 12kV Integrated Primary and Secondary Ring Main Units (RMUs) and Distribution Automation Terminals (DTUs) (2021 Edition)." This initiative aims to elevate equipment selection standards, improve the quality control system, and enhance the durability of distribution network equipment.

Currently, the standardization of distribution equipment has been fully implemented. Standards lead technological innovation and foster the coordinated development of industrial applications.

Standardization is a critical step in the construction of smart grids and represents a significant technical challenge within the industry.

In response to this new market development, Greater has quickly adapted by integrating standardized technical specifications into its R&D projects. This empowers product upgrades, drives continuous innovation, and keeps Greater at the forefront of the industry.
